Ristra Health is a cash/self pay business and does not currently accept insurance. If you have private insurance or a flex spending account through your employer, you may choose to submit a claim to the insurance provider for reimbursement, however we cannot guarantee that they will reimburse you for your visit. If you normally use insurance to pay for medications or laboratory tests (if prescribed), you can still submit your insurance to the pharmacy of your choice or the lab facility where orders are sent. If you are uninsured and need assistance with paying for prescriptions, please let your provider know at the time of your visit and we will work with you to find an option that works for you. The cost of medications and/or lab tests is not included in your visit.

We do our best to ensure that you are eligible for virtual treatment prior to connecting you with a provider. The intake questionnaire you complete helps us understand whether you can be treated virtually, or if we recommend you be seen in person for care.
If the answers you provide indicate that we cannot treat you, we will let you know why and then recommend next steps for you to take to find appropriate care.
Additionally, after reviewing your intake forms, your provider may determine that your care cannot be adequately managed virtually. If this happens, the visit will be cancelled and you will not be charged.
Yes. After your visit, you can message your provider regarding your treatment plan for the condition you were seen for through our secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth platform for up to 7 days after your visit at no extra cost.
This allows you to-
Ask any follow up questions
Connect with the provider if you think the treatment plan needs to be adjusted
Let the provider know if you are having any side effects from prescribed treatment
Alert the provider to any issues getting your prescription from the pharmacy
Your message will be read by the first available provider who will review your chart and help determine what adjustments to your treatment plan, if any, are needed. If you have new concerns unrelated to what you were seen for or if you have questions after the 7 days, you will need to start a new visit.
No personal information is collected through this website. All of your information and intake forms are collected and stored on our HIPAA compliant telehealth platform SimplePractice. All communication once registered occurs through this secure platform. Visits requiring video assessment are conducted in a private area by the practitioner.
