Cold, Cough, Flu
You may qualify for treatment if-Â
- You have URI symptoms like fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough
- You believe you have or have tested positive for influenza, strep throat, a sinus infection, COVID19
- You are NOT experiencing ear pain, drainage, swelling which could indicate an ear infection. Unfortunately we are unable to treat ear infections through virtual care.Â
- You are NOT experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath,Â
- If you have tested positive for COVID19 or Influenza, your provider may ask to see the test or for a picture of the test.Â
- Symptoms for COVID19 started within the past 5 days
- Symptoms of Influenza started within the past 2 days
- You are not pregnant
- You are between the ages of 18 and 64
What to expect-
Treatment for cough, cold, and flu will likely include over the counter medications, possible prescriptions for antivirals or antibiotics- however these are not guaranteed. In the majority of URI's, symptoms are caused by viruses that resolve with time and the only treatment is to help alleviate symptoms. Discussion with your provider will include finding a treatment plan that you both agree with.Â
